Placement Races

Players/Teams will be ranked initially according to their placement times. 

Each season, a specific set of requirements must be completed with a specific car by each competitor and the times from those races are to be reported to NFS Battles. NFS Battles will use those times to rank each player at the start of a given season. 

Because NFS Battles is a third party and Need for Speed games do not share their API with third parties (yet), we have to lean on the honor system. That being said, it does NOT make sense for competitors to lie about their placement races because that would subject them to much higher/lower competition and could lead to de-ranking. Placement Race results will not be made publicly available.

Random placement checks will be conducted throughout the season. If a player is asked to provide proof of their placement results, they are required to do so within 48 hours. If they cannot provide proof, they will be de-ranked by 1 full rank. For example: If a player is ranked in Platinum with 315 rep and they cannot show proof of placement, their rep will be reduced to 215 which puts them in gold.

Proof of placement is defined as a screenshot or video clip containing, their EA Tag (gamer tag) with the time they reported on the race that was required for that season.
